What we provide
Lookmetry provides free, browser-based measurement and classification tools together with written information. The tools are provided for personal, non-commercial use.
The measurements are estimates
Our tools estimate physical dimensions from images using a computer vision model. They are useful and we work hard on their accuracy, but they are not calibrated instruments and they are affected by lighting, camera quality, head position and other factors we cannot control. You are responsible for deciding whether a measurement is fit for your purpose, and for verifying it professionally where the stakes warrant it — for example before ordering high-power or progressive lenses.

Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the tools to measure or analyse another person without their knowledge and agreement;
- attempt to identify, track or surveil any individual;
- scrape, mirror or republish the site's content or code without written permission;
- interfere with the site's operation, or attempt to circumvent any technical limit;
- use the site in any way that breaks the law where you are.
Intellectual property
The site's text, design, and original code are owned by Lookmetry. You may link to any page freely, and you may quote short passages with attribution. The underlying face landmark model is third-party software used under its own licence.
Third-party links
We link to retailers and other external sites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, their products, or their handling of your data. Some outbound links may earn us a commission; where that is the case we disclose it on the page.
Availability
The site is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device. Features may change or be withdrawn.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lookmetry is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site, including any cost incurred as a result of relying on a measurement. Nothing in these terms limits liability where the law does not permit it to be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections available to you where you live.
